Why the urgency? There were several attempts for social revolutions all over the world in the past, so why press it now? - We have to push quickly because the time is running out. 100 years ago, there was no threat of a nuclear devastation—materialistic wars were present then and now, but today they can make the entire globe disappear from our universe. 100 years ago there was pollution—coal mines and many other issues. But today these environmental issues have grown to an extent that the world as we know it may not exist anymore in 25 years due to environmental catastrophes, that experts forecast may sink European cities under a rising sea level and create severe water shortages by 2020. So we can not wait to change course in even 10 years from now—it will be too late. This is not even mentioning the huge number of other issues to be solved, including civil rights, media misinformation, education, health and poverty with 1 billion people in this world hungry, 2 billion living in non-democratic regimes, 2 billion denied civil rights, 27 million enslaved, etc. (see statistics below). Do we want this to continue, that only the chosen few can live happily, or do we want the whole world to live happily, healthy, educated, free and in peace? The movement can not be stopped by imprisonment or assassination of our leaders, if we don’t have leaders, but one common goal in the movement that is supported by all through actions at the grassroots level.
Capitalism is the successor of feudalism and is defined as “an economic system based on the profit motive”. The profit motive is defined as “the reason most businesses exist, to earn a profit”. This definition clearly shows what is wrong with this economic system. The motivation to do business is not producing healthy food, but profitable food, not high quality homes, cars and factories, but profitable homes, cars and factories. Profit, by definition, only serves few people. Every business decision ultimately relies on profitability, otherwise the business can not survive. It is therefore impossible for businesses to make decisions solely based on environmental, health, safety, quality, or other benefits. If we accept that the majority, i.e. 90% of the population shall serve so that the top 10% can profit from their work, then profit is acceptable. But if we want 100% of the population to benefit from the economy, then profit, by definition, is not acceptable. All major global problems today can be traced back to profit decision made by individuals and companies. What is the option to capitalism? For now, let’s call it anti-capitalism!
It
is obvious that certain capitalistic organizations are working
hard to keep the anti-capitalist movement weak by segregating the
groups based on different issues. Some of the issues that separate
the groups are ultimately important, of course, for example what
mixture of autonomy and state there should be in the new social
world. However, the main idea in most groups is the same: we need
a revolution to end capitalism in favor of socialism. And being
social
in its purest form already exists in every human being:
volunteering to help others. Our
movements around the world for peace, environment, civil rights
and social justice and equality are growing and sooner or later we
will be able to make some changes. But we should now seize the
moment and concentrate on a higher goal - we need a common cause
to unite our forces - only united we can be strong
.We have to concentrate our
forces to one common goal with large and growing protest marches
every month! we need a peaceful democratic social revolution—NOW. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We therefore form a new umbrella group (not a legal entity, just a yahoo group for common dialogue). our
umbrella group clearly states only 3 simple rules: details determined in participatory democracy after successful revolution” As is the case with black people and white people; men and women, Nigerians and Americans, Jews and Muslims, there are far more commonalities between all people and socialist groups than there are differences! Some differences may be easily discussed to achieve consent, but all other differences will be postponed till after the main goal is achieved.
1) The common goal of this non-partisan umbrella organization is to unite all people and organizations that prefer the benefit for the masses over the profits for the few, i.e. socialism over capitalism. Together we want to save the world from the negative consequences of capitalism. We therefore call for all organizations sympathetic to anti-capitalism to work together to achieve a democratic, peaceful, non-violent world revolution overthrowing capitalism and replacing it with a social economic system - from each according to abilities, to each according to needs—On our way to this goal we will demonstrate in thousands of organized local marches on the streets around the world for the united cause on the 1st of every month near city halls until the revolution is televised!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
to be realized by participatory democracy such as outlined for example by Michael Albert or Noam Chonsky Parecon or Libnertarian Socialism · Demonstrations on the streets for the united cause on the 1st of every month until the revolution is televised · Eudaimonism - Well Being For All · Social—from each according to abilities, to each according to needs · Anti-Profitism: No Money, No Profits · Production based on common good: quality, longevity, health, environment, human and animal rights, etc. · Unity Is Strength—Individuality And Dissent Are The Basis For Unity · Freedom And Human Rights—Participatory Democracy—Direct Influence · Peace—Full Disarmament, Elimination Of All Weapons Systems Across The World · International & Multicultural · Ecological Balance · Education
Please support our vision and help to organize a world revolution by 2010. Please don't say it is unrealistic - nothing is realistic until it is done. All it takes is a common cause that we are all directly affected by and that we all agree on. Anti-capitalism is such a cause. Let's do it! We learned how to fly, now let's learn how to live socially, healthy, peacefully!!!
We work 40-60 hours a week to afford a nice car, a home, or sometimes just to survive; How many hours per week do we work towards peace, democracy, human rights, a healthy environment, food and social justice for all, i.e. socialism? Let’s get started!
To support this movement, ask all your friends and members of your organization to join act now and spread the word, educate and start the monthly demonstrations with signs and banners on the first Saturday of each month near the city hall of your town in unity with members of all other local organizations in your area until the goal is reached. Copy this webpage, create mirror sites, talk to all the people in your life and send out regular emails to ensure that the word stays out there. 1. Environmental Catastrophe Not only the Kyoto protocol, but many other sources tell us that we must act NOW to stop the destruction of our planet. As long as capitalism is our economic system we have the problem that environmental friendly action is only taken if it is profitable in a short-term economic calculation. Our planet does not have time to wait for profitability.

2. Nuclear Catastrophe Not only the history, but also present situations tell us that we must act NOW to prevent a nuclear destruction of our planet. As long as capitalism is our economic system we have the problem that making war is profitable in a short-term economic calculation for some people. The people do not have time to wait for profitability.

3. Civil Rights Catastrophe Not only the current abuse of power by dictators in so-called third world countries, but also the present situation in the USA and other industrialized countries tell us that we must act NOW to stop any further genocides and ethnic / political profiling on our planet. As long as capitalism is our economic system we have the problem that the abuse of civil rights is profitable in a short-term economic calculation for some people. The people do not have time to wait for profitability.

4. Poverty Not only in the USA and other third world countries, but in all countries there exists poverty. And poverty brings issues such as hunger, housing, health, etc. It is not enough anymore to fight against the symptoms such as war and hunger, let’s fight the disease. As long as capitalism is our economic system we have the problem that poverty of the masses and the corresponding ills are profitable in a short-term economic calculation for some people.

5. Anti-Capitalism Capitalism is the successor of feudalism and is defined as “an economic system based on the profit motive”. If we accept that the majority 90% of the population shall serve so that the top 10% can profit from it, then profit is acceptable. But if want 100% of the population to benefit from the economy, then profit, by definition, is not acceptable. What are the options to capitalism? Well, there are several other forms to structure an economy. If we want 100% of the population to benefit from the economy, however, we must use a system that does not allow profits for a few, because, by definition, a profit for one is a loss for another. We may differ in detail regarding which structure would be ideal. However, there is again one common ideal that all possible non-profit structures have in common: the social ideal. We all want to get rid of profit for the few and replace it with benefits for all. How exactly the government, if there is one at all, will look like is secondary. Again, many current capitalistic countries have rather different government structures, yet they are all capitalistic. Let’s worry about getting the world healthy again, socially, emotionally, environmentally, etc.. Then we worry about the details of mixing the different kinds of socialism, i.e. anarchism, Marxism, mutualism, libertarianism and other ideas into a new world. Success in socialism will take time, but we can achieve this by non-violent means if we all come together and concentrate on reaching the important goal first—anti-capitalism.

6. Peaceful And Democratic Not only the pacifists, but all humans prefer to achieve their goals in a non-violent manner. Sometimes it seems as if non-violent means are not sufficient. But this discussion is not relevant for our cause. First, only a revolution based on consent can actually be a lasting one, and therefore, only a consensual revolution is worth trying. Second, if there is consent, then there will be masses of people. We have to unite all anti-capitalists, no matter what philosophical base we may have, and we will be billions of people protesting on the streets for an anti-capitalist revolution. Force will not help us, force will not be needed. As long as capitalism is our economic system we have the problem that the use of violence is profitable in a short-term economic calculation for some people. Let’s not fall into the profit trap of violence. And by the way, democratic revolutions are legal, too—so we have the law on our side.

7. World International Revolution Not only in the USA and other third world countries, but in all countries can the negative effects of capitalism be felt. A social system will only work well, if all share the available resources. If one country has the monopoly on clean air, and it does not want to share, then a social world is not possible. That is why we need a world revolution, including at best all countries, at worst the majority of all countries to participate. We have to unite all anti-capitalists, no matter what philosophical base we may have, and we will be billions of people protesting on the streets for an anti-capitalist revolution. The overthrow of capitalism in the USA is an essential basic ingredient to a world revolution, since the USA is the most influential capitalistic state for many different reasons. It is not enough anymore to fight against the symptoms such as war and hunger, let’s fight the disease.

8. Participatory Democracy Not only the democrats, but all humans prefer to achieve their goals by saying what they want and getting what they want. History and current events show that any representation is bound to misrepresent the people. Also, people who are not responsible for making decisions, are also not responsible for thinking about those decisions. That is a very dangerous lack in any democracy. It is therefore necessary to keep all people involved in the decision making process through direct voting. All people includes all, all ages, genders, cultures, ALL. As long as capitalism is our economic system we have the problem that representation is profitable in a short-term economic calculation for some people. Let’s not fall into the profit trap of violence.

"Not to say that corporations are perfect today, but even grand corporations like Dupont have made immense progress in translating some of their past environmentally damaging practices into new profit opportunities." ~ Maurice Strong ————————————————————————————————— More famous Quotes supporting this movement Eugene Debs (1855-1926: US presidential candidate; sentenced to 20 years prison for anti-war speech): As a rule, large capitalists are Republicans and small capitalists are Democrats, but workingmen must remember that they are all capitalists, and that the many small ones, like the fewer large ones, are all politically supporting their class interests, and this is always and everywhere the capitalist class. Of course, Socialism is violently denounced by the capitalist press and by all the brood of subsidized contributors to magazine literature, but this only confirms the view that the advance of Socialism is very properly recognized by the capitalist class as the one cloud upon the horizon which portends an end to the system in which they have waxed fat, insolent and despotic through the exploitation of their countless wage-working slaves. What the workingmen of the country are profoundly interested in is the private ownership of the means of production and distribution, the enslaving and degrading wage-system in which they toil for a pittance at the pleasure of their masters and are bludgeoned, jailed or shot when they protest—this is the central, controlling, vital issue of the hour, and neither of the old party platforms has a word or even a hint about it.
When
millions were killed in wars around the world,
“There may be times when we are powerless to prevent injustice, but there must never be a time when we fail to protest.” ~ Elie Wiesel (1928 -)
"It is impossible for capitalism to survive, primarily because the system of capitalism needs some blood to suck...As the nations of the world free themselves, then capitalism has less victims, less to suck, and it becomes weaker and weaker.." ~ Malcolm X (1925-1965: assassinated)
"Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired, signifies in the final sense a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed." ~ Dwight D. Eisenhower (1890 - 1969)
"A revolution is coming - a revolution which will be peaceful if we are wise enough; compassionate if we care enough; successful if we are fortunate enough - but a revolution which is coming whether we will it or not. We can affect its character, we cannot alter its inevitability." ~ John F. Kennedy (1917-1963: assassinated)
